About: Hospital Of St Cross / Trauma and orthopaedics

I was in the cedar ward for 3 nights following a complicated procedure on my knee. I was treated with the utmost care by all members of staff from I entered the ward, going to surgery, in recovery after surgery and then my aftercare on the ward for 3 nights. I couldn’t have asked for better care from any members of staff with all of them putting the patient first even if they were understaffed at times. They were able to manage my pain levels and always kept it under control and gave me everything I needed to concentrate on my recovery. I would not hesitate in recommending this hospital to anyone that has to get surgery done, the treatment is second to none and thank you to all staff members for how you looked after me!
