"Appointments and helpfulness"

About: King's Mill Hospital / General surgery

My appoint was at 11am and while waiting the fire alarm went off, staff very professionally escorted us to an area of safety. Later we were taken back to our respective waiting areas and they apologized for delays but carried on with their work so well. I went into my examination and was then told I need a flexible sigmoidoscopy and this was arranged in endescopy in about five minutes. All this, fire evacuation and I still left the hospital within 2 and a half hours. Excellent service in this department today. I would also like to say that I have in this last week heard from two other departments who will be seeing me ,one on Saturday and one on Sunday, 7 Day a week service, well done.

Thank you for taking the time to provide such positive feedback. I will ensure your kind comments are passed on to the teams involved in your care as I am sure they will be pleased to read your words of praise. Thank you again for taking the time to write this post and I am very pleased to hear that our staff acted in such a calm and professional manner during the time of the fire drill.

best wishes
