"I felt as though I was a number and a nuisance"

About: Pilgrim Hospital / General surgery

(as the patient),

Surgeon was horrible, they didn't know why I was there. They were rude, said I needed more tests.

I went to close the door, the surgeon said leave it open I need a chaperone and sit down no not there they said there. They asked why I was there even though my Dr had sent me. I felt as though I was a number and a nuisance. I do not wish to see them again.

It's nice to be heard. All I asked was to be treated with respect. I myself would not speak to someone like that. I myself work in care and understand respect and dignity but with their attitude I would not trust them to operate on me. I've spoken to my G.P and said I do not wish to go to them again. Plus they had to ask me why I was there surely they should have had that information.Thank you for your response.
