"Very disappointed with waiting time"

About: Croydon University Hospital

My total experience time at mayday was 10hours with my child. Only to investigate a infection on her feet. After X-rays and blooded test results we were advices there nothing to worry infection will pass in few days. I’m so disappointed how long it has taken. We’r not coming back here again and I do not recommend anyone. If you do make sure you eat well. Doctors said not leave her room. 10hours with a hungry child. Not good.

I am very sorry you experienced such a long wait when you attended the hospital. We are aware that waiting times often are the main cause of dissatisfaction for patients and their carers. All efforts are made to keep waiting times to a minimum and so I am sorry that this was not the case for you and your child.

It is not clear from the information provided who was responsible for your child's care and treatment but if you would like to contact the Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) I will be happy to make sure that this is looked into for you?

Our PALS office may be contacted by telephone on 020 8401 3210 or by email at ch-tr.pals@nhs.net. The office is open during the week from 9am to 4:45pm

Kind Regards

Hilary
