What I liked

As a heart condition was suspected I was treated very quickly by a whole team of doctors and nurses. Everything was very thoroughly investigated and worse-case scenario provided for until my condition was properly diagnosed. In the end, the chest pains were a digestive issue but this was accurately pinpointed where another hospital had missed it.

What could be improved

At the time of my visit, the cardiology ward where I was positioned was a mixed-sex ward. This may now have changed. I was not too concerned as privacy was respected but others may not find this so.

Outpatient appointments were rarely with the same doctor and often not with the doctor mentioned in my appointment letter but that said, all seemed to have read the notes well and were able to act accordingly.
