"Generally very satisfactory service"

I moved to Market Harborough last year and was pleasantly surprised at the efficiency and professionality of this medical centre. Our family were assigned a GP in no time. Unfortunately, this doctor was extremely arrogant, dismissive, and generally rude, so we changed (easily and no questions asked) to our present family GP who is very pleasant and provides excellent care and advice.

However, getting an appointment is difficult by phone. The polite reception staff do try their best to find slots if they possibly can, but I do feel that having to spend half an hour on hold at 8am, or having to wait in a long queue at the surgery at the same time is most inconvenient if not impossible for some. I am now going to register for online appointment booking which I have been assured will be easier.

Due to patient demand, it can sometimes be difficult to get through first thing in the morning. The online facility enables patients to make appointments, without having to contact the surgery.
