"Acute Stroke Treatment"

About: East Surrey Hospital

I was admitted by ambulance to A & E where l was quickly assessed and sent for a CT scan.

After this scan l was sent to Chaldon Ward for a bed and further treatment. The staff there were attentive and reassuring. I was kept informed by the nursing staff and doctors throughout my stay and felt that l was receiving the best treatment.

After being discharged l felt very grateful and impressed by the NHS service provided by the East Surrey Hospital.

Thank you for the feedback; I am glad you received a good experience and that your treatment was timely. Chaldon ward work very hard to ensure patients are treated with dignity and respect and are kept informed of their condition.

I hope your recovery is progressing well.

kind regards

Nicola Shopland
