Attended Dermatology today for mole removal results. Went in on time and the absolutely lovely and informative nurse, spent 40 minutes with me explaining everything to me. It was Stage 1 melanoma but on further action just monitoring. This is the 4th cancer issue I have had over the past 9 years, and I cannot fault the excellent service I have received, mostly at the Macmillan unit. The only downside today was that I got a £70 parking ticket in the car park as I could not find a space so parked on the grass verge for fear of missing my appointment. I will pay without appealing though as in a good mood today.Well done and ta big thank you to the nurse! Andrew Pettitt

We are so pleased to hear that our dermatology team looked after you ever so well and we hope everything continues to be okay regarding your skin treatment. We are sorry to hear about the issue you had with parking, this is something we are hoping will be rectified once our new staff multi-storey car park opens and we are able to free up some spaces in the one by the main entrance for patients. Once again thank you for taking the time to tell us about your care.
