(as a service user),

I came into hospital totally stressed not knowing what was wrong with me. The staff quickly reassured me and my family and the service I received was excellent.

I am now on my way home.

Dear dracobk39,

I can only imagine how stressful it must have been for you coming in to hospital with a possible stroke. This must have been such a difficult time for you and your family. As a team we aim to ensure not only rapid assessment and care but also excellent communication.

I am glad that you found the care and service to be excellent and that the staff quickly reassured you and your family. Hearing the importance of this communication to you and your family will enhance care delivery.
