"Appalling Maternity Unit"

About: Macclesfield District General Hospital / Maternity care

I was treated appallingly at Macclesfield hospital.

Staff didn’t listen to my concerns, or take my symptoms seriously.

Multiple times I clicked the emergency buzzer due to extreme loss of blood and pain, took a nurse 15-20 minutes to turn up.

When I asked if I could see the doctor on their morning rounds, i was left and after asking 3/4 times, a doctor finally turned up at 8pm.

My medication was forgotten on multiple occasions even when I prompted them if I could have it.

I am seriously concerned that someone could have a emergency at this hospital and they wouldn’t be helped in time.
