"Its all about the nurses"

So I was developing sepsis from a severe kidney infection. Left sitting in a n e even though I was sent as urgent because my heart rate and temperature was so high and I was extremely poorly. Taken round to majors to be left sitting on a hard metal chair for 8 hours in extreme pain and could hardly walk and all because they could not get me a bed because they were full. Surely my illness should of been taken seriously but they were all too busy chatting away to eachother. Finally after all those hours I was placed into the overflow in a n e so o could at least try and sleep. This was discusting the way I was looked after. But then it all changed, I was finally given a bed on wakely ward. Wakely ward you are brilliant, all you nurses need an award for all you do! Your so busy all the time making sure your patients are looked after and nothing is too much for you. Consultant s are useless! I was admitted on a Thursday and didn't see a doctor until monday morning and finallybhad a scan on Tuesday. The only people that I can thank for looking after me is the nurses your awesome and should be given an award for everything you do. Thankyou nurses on wakely ward you made me better and got me back to my family
