"Appointment letter feedback"

I don't think I have a story as such but want to pass on a comment.  I had an appointment sent to me for a CT colonoscopy virtual earlier this month. 

As I read the pages of information the night before I saw (on page 3) that if my appointment had not been arranged by telephone I needed to email to say I was attending.  It would seem more logical to put that paragraph right after the details of the appointment, wouldn't it?  I only saw it by chance as none of the travel details were needed by me.

I also have to mention how irritating it is to have a whole sheet of A4 with only 5 lines on it.  What a waste of paper.

Dear Didys, thank you so much for taking the time to post your feedback about the appointment letter you received. You will be pleased to know that we recognise our correspondence is not as effective or efficient as it could be and as such we are undertaking a project to rectify this. We are working through departments in turn, so it is sadly not a quick fix (I too wish it could be quicker!), but it is our aim to eliminate the waste and ensure the important pieces of information are clearly laid out.
