I don't think I have a story as such but want to pass on a comment. I had an appointment sent to me for a CT colonoscopy virtual earlier this month.
As I read the pages of information the night before I saw (on page 3) that if my appointment had not been arranged by telephone I needed to email to say I was attending. It would seem more logical to put that paragraph right after the details of the appointment, wouldn't it? I only saw it by chance as none of the travel details were needed by me.
I also have to mention how irritating it is to have a whole sheet of A4 with only 5 lines on it. What a waste of paper.
