Went to Rubislaw ward this week after receiving devastating news about my pregnancy a few days before.
From the moment I stepped into the reception of the ward I was meet with such understanding and compassion.
I was so worried I would be judged and made to feel ashamed but this was not the case.
They helped me through the hardest day of my whole life.
On the day of the procedure i got to meet the whole team and everything was explained to me on easy terms to understand. The whole team was understanding of my case and had clearly read my notes so I didnt have to explain anything to them all over again. Thank you to the male anaesthetist I sadly didnt catch his name for his care over me being afraid of the needle in my hand and getting me though it.
Thank you Donna for your care over me even when I was having an emotional moment when I first arrived and the lovely food you gave me and finding a snack for my husband to eat when he arrived later that afternoon.
Thank you Clara for your care and compassion when I needed it the most it really did mean the world too me.
The whole team here is wonderful, People are quick to slag of AMH but I have not found this to be the case at all. I only wish I had been there in happier circimstances but the care, compasion and understanding I recieved made the heartbreak a little easier to bear and for that I will always be truly greatful.
