What I liked
My son Tom was admitted on Sunday July 17 for a small emergency operation under the general surgeons - the team kindly facilitated rapid admission from a very busy emergency department and ensured that he went to theatre at the first opportunity that evening, for which I was immensely grateful as I was travelling abroad (home) the following day. As a general surgeon myself, the care was excellent and I wish to thank in particular the charge nurse in A&E for expediting admission, the surgical registrar and anaesthetist for ensuring surgery occcured that night, and the ward nurses who made a teenage boy many thousands of mile from home feel comfortable - and his mother who was anxious and took him home even before the am ward round (sorry)! Well done all!
Anything else?
Can you pass my thanks to the surgical team
"Very good care and caring nursing staff"
