"Ash trees surgery access to doctors"

About: Ash Trees Surgery

The appointment system is very slow - almost impossible to see your own doctor so you end up seeing a doctor who does not know you and has no idea what you are talking about - which makes the whole appointment very uncomfortable - maybe more information written in your notes from your last visit would help this problem - as it puts you off going -

We are grateful to you for highlighting your dissatisfaction, though we encourage you to always speak to a senior member of staff about specifics to allow us to support your request.

You will be aware that demand has had an adverse effect on general practice capacity and to this end we do offer appointments within a small group of GPs in order to address the continuity of care.

We constantly look at our appointment availability and systems and an example of this is to engage specialist nurses and pharmacists to deal with acute or medication queries, in order to increase access to GPs.

you are welcome to come along to our regular patient group meetings to discuss in more detail; watch the website or noticeboards for future dates.

With regard to medical notes, the relevant information should be recorded, but without details we are unable to investigate this concern.

Practice Manager.
