"so far very very poor"

About: Manchester Royal Infirmary

What I liked

I was referred to Manchester royal Infirmary by my GP in November 2010, for none urgent abdominal surgery, it took 3 months before I saw a doctor, and a further 5 months before I had any tests and I am still waiting for a date for the surgery, I have been told it may be October before I actually gets to have my surgery

I am in constant pain and need strong analgesia every day

It is complete lie on the web site to say you see a doctor in 15 days of the referral and have your treatment by 10 weeks

This must be a typing error, it is 10 months and I am still waiting

I would not recommend attending this hospital if you need treatment soon, I cannot comment on the standard of medical or nursing care, as so far I have not had any

What could be improved

get the waiting time for sugery less , and more in line with your own policy
