"Thanks to staff in Cardiac Unit"

I had to attend the CU last week for an angiogram and possible angioplasty.

From the first visit to my GP to day-care admittance for treatment was a mere 5 weeks which included the consultants appointment and pre-assessment visit.

I was anxious but from being greeted with a smile at reception to being waved goodbye late afternoon, the whole experience was made bearable and more relaxing by the great bunch of people who made up the team.

Nothing was too much trouble. My questions were answered clearly, I was reassured and kept informed the whole way through.

It was clear the team got on well which went a long way to putting me at ease. Each and every one of them showed a high degree of professionalism, kindness and consideration.

Calm efficiency shone through.

I couldn't rate my care more highly.
