"Ward 42 - poor service"

My relative is currently on ward 42, and I find the care to be extremely poor. Some of the staff including a couple of nurses do not appear to have an understanding of basic problems and illnesses that the elderly face in later life.

On more than one occasion I have had a conversation with a member of staff who has had a whinge about my relative who is in hospital because they are poorly and have been spoken about as though they are a bothersome inconvenience.

I understand that the staff can be busy but my understanding of a hospital is that it’s a place providing care, sadly this has not been my experience.
