"Total lack of post op care"

About: Leicester General Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

The Orthopaedic Department at Leicester General Hospital should go on record as the worst post operative care on record. Basically because there isn't any. I have never experienced such a lack of concern, advice, or 'care' following major surgery in Orthpaedic terms.

'Care' being the key word. As a patient I am appalled and disgusted at the lack of interest. As an ex member of Theatre staff I am deeply ashamed. It would seem targets and tick boxes have taken over. What happened?
