About: University Hospital Ayr / Day Surgery

(as the patient),

I just wanted to pass on my thanks to the staff in the day surgery unit during my visit last week.

Mr Obi kept me informed before and after surgery, ensuring I was fully aware of everything. The anaesthetist listened to my concerns and reassured me that he would look after me. The nurses in the day unit were attentive and friendly. Their care was first class.

In a time when the NHS is underfunded, understaffed and more and more pressure to reach targets has been placed on staff it is reassuring that these professionals have not let it affect the service they provide for patients. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
