"I had vascular surgery on Thursday."

The day centre surgery was very busy and disorganised, but the two resarch nurses one from the royal London vascular and one from the William Harvey heart centre were absulotlly fabulous and made the whole experience very very calming .

Also the recovery ward I spent the night, well the staff there are proborlly picked from the best that work in the NHS and the staff nurse was even help them tidy up the ward the next morning for the day ahead. I wasn't transferred to a ward until the next day and 9.15 to ward 13 and am so glad that I spent the night in recovery ward not ward 13 nurses there were very abrupt and I felt that I was in the way I'm sure it was only because they were very busy. In all I'm very very happy with the service I received from all working there and I'm happy to tell my story on the NHS choices website that helps people make choices about hospitals.
