"Think it’s terrible the wait in between..."

About: Queen Elizabeth I I Hospital / Breast surgery

I discovered a lump in my breast and saw my gp she couldn’t get an appointment so requested one. When the hospital did ring a week or so later I had to wait 2 weeks. When I did see the doctor she suggested a mammogram and a scan. Then had to wait again. But I had to ring them. Not good over the Easter holidays. Then waiting again for mammogram on one day. Then another week for the scan. Then having to wait further 31/2 weeks to see the doctor again. During this time my breast has enlarged under my arm is painful. I had some bloods done at my surgery which came back as no infection. Phoned hospital to ask if they could help. But having to wait till Tuesday for my scan. If I get any worse then go to a&e
