"To the staff member from Practice looked after..."

About: Park Leys Medical Practice

for a two week period in April 2018, this turned out to be so advantageous for my Mum who was as limp as a rag doll, totally listless and without appetite before meeting a member of staff here.

I was very concerned and constantly trying to find out if any help could be offered to her.

The member of staff went to the nursing home and did several checks on my Mum, at all times she called me and kept me up to date, explained the symptoms and proposed changes in prescription drugs she even looked back through records and explained that one of her CT Scans showed Vascular Dementia. This was news to me. After a few days Mum was much more comfortable - she had had blood tests, adjustments to her meds, iron supplements and a new care programme.

I am certain that she has a confident and caring beside manner and in conjunction with her high level of competence its a win win combination.

I very much appreciated the feedback which is something I have not come across before - this Florence Nightingale must have great job satisfaction as those who come in contact with her are awestruck by her efficient manner.
