What I liked
I was admitted to Ward 8 in July 2011 for a right total knee replacement. I was given the very best possible care and kept being reassured and informed during all stages of my stay there. All of the staff worked as part of a team and the high standard of patient care provided by the Ward Management and their staff is something all wards and units in the Pennine Trust should aspire to. It was simpe little touches that provided patients and their families with a wonderful impression of what the Pennine Trust are trying to acheive.
What could be improved
Variety of food, particularly choice of sandwich filling as if you are having an extended stay, the choice becomes limited.
"I was provided with the very best care as set out..."
