"Very pleased with treatment received..."

About: Warrington Hospital

What I liked

My wife had surgery (hip Replacement)in Daresbury unit, service was first class, both on the ward, and with Pysios, but the surgeon was first class Highly recommend it, everything was so professional

What could be improved

Nothing as far as the hospital was concerned, but with the pressure on hospital finance, I honestly believe better inventory control could be exercised with hospital equipment and trust equipment, there appears to be very little control over this, I returned crutches and walking sticks, to ward, also I returned other equipment to Wharfe Street but no one asked were they were from or when they were issued. THere must be Thousands of pounds worth of equipment missing I know you have torely on peoples own integrity to return stuff but I do feel if there was some form of inventory control and a booking in and out system for equipment with a reminder sent it could ave a lot of money,

Thank you for taking the time to leave comments on our services and we are pleased that your wife's care was to the standards you should expect. We have passed on your comments around inventory control of patient aids to our supplies team to see if that is something that we can look at for the future.
