I have an inurable and painful condition affecting my whole body which makes me hypersensitive to pain. I explained all this in a separate letter and asked for a small scope to be used . I don’t believe it was and I was in extreme pain. I was given extra sedative which made me very floppy afterwards and I slipped as I was getting off the bed. The nurses kept whispering in front of me which concerned me. I felt pressure to leave the unit as I was the last patient .I was offered a wheel chair to go to the car and was pulled backwards in it so I couldn’t see where I was going. The nurse did not warn me we were approaching the double
doors and crashed in to them - the impact jarring my joints and. scaring me which made me flinch. Please Note : No apology just the comment ‘ You’re a bit jumpy today’ I explained I had endured a painful procedure and she replied ‘ Are you just like this when you're ill or are you like it all the time?’ I am appalled at the lack of empathy and professionalism . This person needs more training and possibly should not be in the caring profession.
