"Ultrasound - outpatient"

About: Pilgrim Hospital

Took my 4 1/2 year old in for an ultrasound today as an outpatient. It was our first visit to the hospital which is 40 miles from home and I was nervous but trying to keep it under wraps for her sake. I had researched parking and the hospital map, but was still uncertain about the logistics so arrived about 40 minutes early. The parking was well signed, the staff incredibly helpful at reception and we were actually seen early, meaning we were seen and out before our scheduled appointment. The person who did the ultrasound was amazing, put us both at ease really quickly. I would like to be able to have that recognised

I hope not to see you soon, but feel confident that if we do, we will be looked after. Thank you.

Thank you for taking the time to give such positive feedback regarding the service provided by our Ultrasound Department here at Pilgrim Hospital.

We always endeavour to make what can be such an anxious time as pleasant and reassuring as possible and I am pleased that you felt so well looked after.

I will be passing on your comments to the members of our team.

Thank you again.

Kind regards,

Gill Massey
