"Unfriendly and rude"

Attended for an appointment booked by my GP after couldn’t find my contraceptive coil threads.

Had no record of the call being made, and had not been booked into the correct appointment. Then, were very negative about my GP’s care (which I have found to be fantastic).

Finally the experience was rounded off by being chastised and made to feel ashamed by the nurse for bleeding when being examined.

Did the job I went in for, but left feeling very unsatisfied with the care.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback, we are very sorry to hear that you had such a negative experience whilst attending New Croft Centre.

We would like to look further into the care you received as this would allow us to provide you with a detailed response and the service to review your experience in order to make any improvements that will enhance the quality of service we deliver to our patients going forward. We would be very grateful if you could contact the service on 0191 229 2999 and request to speak to the Senior Nurse.

If you are able to do this we will investigate your concerns and act upon them accordingly, alternatively if you are willing to discuss the issues further with the Patient Relations Department at patient.relations@nuth.nhs.uk or on 0191 223 1382, they will be able to facilitate an investigation in to the events and provide you with a more detailed response.
