"Ward 23"

About: University Hospital (Coventry) / Gynaecology

I was admitted to Ward 23 on New Years Day for the 3rd time in a month as an emergency after suffering repeated bleeding in early pregnancy (following miscarriage 6 months prior).

The care I was provided was excellent, the staff were so caring and sensitive to how anxious I was. I was seen fairly quickly by a nurse and sonographer who then wanted me to see a Doctor who I had to wait for but she was excellent when I did see her. The NHS get so much bad press, so I wanted to share my positive experience to show it isn't all bad!

We understand being in hospital can be a stressful time, especially if you have problems during pregnancy, and we want to make our patients feel as comfortable as possible.
