"Minor Operation"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Dermatology

(as the patient),

I was scheduled for a minor operation to have a sebaceous cyst removed from my scalp. The nurses at Forth Valley Royal Hospital ambulatory care department are David and Ella. They seemed to work well as a team and immediately put me at my ease with their friendly approach. Everything was explained to me very clearly and I was helped by the chattiness and good humoured banter whilst the procedure was taking place. This is what the NHS is all about - excellent, friendly, informative and professional care. Thank you, nurses David and Ella.

Thank you very much for taking the time to leave us such positive feedback.

Ella and I really appreciate patients letting us know how we are doing.

We are glad you found the chattiness helped relax you, if we can take your mind off what is happening it makes it easier for all of us.

I hope everything is healing well.
