I visited the A&E department at Tameside General Hospital following a fall that I had downstairs. Upon arrival I received faultless and caring attention from the receptionist, the triage nurse, the A&E Consultant and the two A&E nurses. Their quick action resulted in my arm being put into a good position for a good recovery. Also the X ray department who were so careful and friendly.
Following my A&E visit my next appointment was with Mr Jamil who is a very nice, professional person. He arranged for my surgery where once again I encountered faultless and caring attention from everybody in the day surgery, my surgeon, the anesthetic team and the porter.
My cast was removed in the fracture clinic and again everybody showed care and attention.
A follow up with physiotherapy was arranged and again this was conducted by a very professional and knowledgeable physiotherapist.
I am now back at work and on the road to recovery and all due to Tameside Hospital and the people who work there.
