It's really hard to get an appointment here. They do offer same day appointments and you have to call first thing in the morning when you're very unlikely to get through. If you do manage to get an appointment, the doctors rush you through. The easy and quick diagnosis for women seems to be that it's all related to the contraceptive pill. Usually no checks are carried out. I had to ask to get a blood test done and then had to wait 4 weeks to get an appointment with the nurse for the test. Really unhappy with the treatment and long waiting times. Quite inconvenient.

We are sorry to hear that your experience of the surgery has been a negative one.

Firstly you mentioned your frustration with the appointment system so we would to clarify the options we have as a practice.

1) Patient online registration - where you can register on the practice website to book an appointment.

2) Calling anytime to book a routine appointment, which can be booked up to a month in advance.

3) Calling anytime to for appointments for one of our neighbouring hubs.

4) Calling at 8:30am to book a same day or 48 hour appointment.

5) Calling anytime of the day for the duty doctor triage system where a doctor will call you back.

6) Calling between 12:15 and 1:00pm for doctors telephone consultation.

We hope this clarifies things a little regarding our appointment system. With regards to the other issues you mentioned, we would ask that you speak to our practice manager so we can investigate this further.
