"careless"

My mother has many health problems, she was complaining to me many times that she never had problems sorted correctly, so this time I was with here to make sure this is true.

Problem: bladder(blood when going to toilet), throat (bug,flu?) We're not doctors, but when comes problems, we're trying sort them self, but get in touch with doctor is so much important as it could be anything on the end, so many things around about cancer etc,

so: mother used some ordinary tablets from pharmacy which helped, doctor not even look properly on the packaging and said, yeah antibiotics helps, I said this is not antibiotic, and she (doctor) said: "but it helps so come back if problem will be again" no any checks offered, throat wasn't checked... is it? is it real? It was hidden camera somewhere? How doctor can say antibiotics for just ordinary tablets and ignore all over? We're not people who abuse or usually complaint, specially about doctors, about people who helping, saving lives - I have always big respect to doctors (in this case in theory only) so we just said "Thank You" and left, all visit was about 5mins, I was feeling pressure of time for unknown reasons, decided to just go away, and change surgery for whole family, as this was not first time with some issues.
