"Ophthalmology clinic are useless"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Queen's Medical Centre Campus / Ophthalmology

I went to the ophthalmology clinic last year because of double vision and halos etc, was told a report would follow, here we are 5 months later and no report despite my gp chasing. In the meantime my vision is getting progressively worse, I am not allowed to drive meaning I have to spend 400 pounds a month to get to work. I am an NHS worker myself and dont have money to splash around. I have also had 5 different glasses prescriptions too as my focusing compensates and by midday my vision is as bad with the glasses as it was first think in the morning without.

THIS IS CAUSING ME TO BECOME CLINICALLY DEPRESSED.

When Qmc were last asked about when my gp might expect the report (she doesnt know where to refer me next until we have it0, She was sent a letter explaining there were no Drs to compile the reports and that they would hopefully know more within the month. That was January.

Side note, ENT clinics are no better!

If you have a choice between QMC for eye/ENT clinics and elsewhere, go elsewhere!
