Neonatal staff

About: Aberdeen Maternity Hospital / Neonatal Unit (Special Care Baby Unit)

(as a parent/guardian),

I will never be able to thank the staff in the neonatal unit enough for what they did for me and my baby. They really can't improve on what they do.

But it really was quite embarrassing listening to the stories of one staff member about their dating. I get the staff have private lives but there's a time and place.

It is lovely to hear how well the team cared for you and your baby during this difficult time by delivering a high standard of care.

I have discussed your comments with the staff, regarding the inappropriate conversations you heard in the neonatal unit and apologise that you were put in this embarrassing position.
