Overall look of the hospital, inside and out needs to be changed, it is very old fashioned and not taken care of. Definitely needs upgrading.
Some members in the reception (Oral surgery) were really rude when I came for my appointment.
They had told me that my appointment was rescheduled which I did not know about, however tone of voice was rude and a loud, aggressive tone.
In addition to this, waiting times are ridiculously long, my first appointment was supposed to be at 15:30 however I was seen over an hour after.
The offices also looked very unorganised with masses of files and papers coming out and poorly organised. Electronic documents in this case needs to be considered. (Makillofacial reception).
Waiting que's are very long which shows a lack of staff and attentiveness.
Only positive was the actual doctor I was seen by. He was not a full professional but a trainee, however his advice and the way he came across was very friendly.
Overall, service was poor. This could be down to some members of staff, but ultimately I believe the NHS lacks necessary funds. Workers need to be paid more and relieved by recruiting additional staff members which may motivate them to offer exceptional service.
Overall disappointed with this hospital.
