What I liked

My six week old son was on the childrens ward for three days due to an infection. It was, as you can imagine, a very frightening experience for us, but the staff on the ward were approachable, friendly and supportive. They made a frightening experience into one that was made as comfortable as possible, for both our son and us as parents.

What could be improved

The only issue was the time it took from being discharged through to receiving meds - 6 hours.

Anything else?

I cannot put into words how much easier this awful experience was made due to the caring nature of all staff we we encountered. i don't think I would ever be able to thank them enough.
