What I liked
I fell and broke my ankle on 25.6.11, the Ambulance took 8 minutes to get to me, the ambulance staff were professional and superb and kept my spirits up with what was a very painful experience. A&E were excellent and caring, X-ray department was efficient. I was then moved on to T4 to await my op on 27th. I was cared for extremely well, the ward was clean and well looked after. I was then moved to T3 where I received excellent care and my spirits were kept up by the professional but amusing staff (both students through to Staff Nurses, day and night) which took away the embarassment which I could have experienced having to have almost everything done for me.
In total I was in 9 days and I could not fault anything. I then visited Fracture Clinic on 13th July for quite a traumatic time (having bandaging and clips removed and then having ankle put in plaster) the staff were great, friendly and efficient.
Thank you to everyone
What could be improved
TV's installed in T3
Anything else?
Just thank you to everyone involved from ambulance staff right through to discharge
I will be writing to Manchester Evening News Postbag with favourable comments
"Excellent"
