What I liked
Very very little.
What could be improved
For a start, the waiting time was extremely long despite the number of patients not being that great.
However, my main complaint relates to the quality of the care, not just the time taken to provide it. I was completely misdiagnosed. I was told that I had sprained knee ligaments and that in two weeks I would be able to return to strenuous activity.
The reality was that I had sustained grade 2 tears in the medial and posterior cruciate ligaments with possible damage to the anterior cruciate ligament as well as possible meniscus damage. Had I followed the medical advice I received in A&E, I would have sustained what would probably be permanent disability.
It seems clear to me that the medical staff were not concerned with diagnosing me or providing any medical care - they were only concerned with making me leave regardless of my condition.
"Utterly disgraceful, a pitiful example..."
