I was told this would allow me to see the ent specialist sooner so I thought great. The place is easy to find and receptionist lovely.
The reception area is just a corridor but not the end of the world.
The consultant was appealing. Didn't listen performed treatment without telling me anything about it or why he was doing it. He didn't take any history or ask me to explain the condition. He took my GP's referal letter and only focused on her one view of polyps. Once he knew it wasn't them he prescribed a nasal spray despite the gp letter and myself telling him it didn't work. His treatment was so rough I had tears streaming down my face.
To top it all he took a phone call on his personal mobile to arrange what his plans were for Saturday night. So glad he managed to sort it out and it will be at eight. All whilst I was sitting there.
This isn't part of the NHS so be wary. They really don't care.
