I was due to go in for surgery on 7/4/2018 and upon arrival l was told my surgery had been cancelled at last minute due to not having a MRSA staff.

I was so annoyed and disappointed to find that not only this is a private care hospital it failed to carry out their own pr-operative assessment which allows the nurses to call you in for the test.

l had received several calls and even a telephone appointment to carry out the pre-op assessment which l completed,

I even got a call 2 days prior to the surgery going through the checks again and further 2 calls before the day and hadn't been told.

The services had failed their duty of care and l was sent home by a theatre nurse saying that the surgeon will NOT do the surgery.

Appauling service, l had arranged time off work for recovery and my daughter lives away from home had also come to care for me.

I have now got to wait until the next time the surgeon can do the surgery not knowing it it is weeks.
