My husband was admitted to the A&E department at St Peter's Hospital after suffering a seizure and a period of unconsciousness.
We were immediately seen and he was very thoroughly investigated. He unfortunately suffered another seizure while in A&E and the staff were amazing both to my husband and me. They were extremely kind and professional in their approach to him as the patient. They were also extremely considerate and kind to me. I felt fully informed and involved at all times. They were happy for me to be present most of the time and I felt very reassured and confident in their care.
He was transferred to the acute Medical ward, where he stayed for 2 nights. The care on the ward was also very kind and professional.
I'm very pleased to report that he is doing very well and almost back to normal . I would like to express my thanks to all those involved in his care. You should be very proud of the job you do!
