"HORRIBLE experience"

About: Queen's Hospital / Maternity care

Stay away from this hospital!! Yesterday I was heaving what I thought was contractions, I do have a uterus anomaly and am at risk. After doing a general assessment one of the staff told me to go back to waiting area and wait for doctor, I was in a lot of pain! I wasn’t allowed to stay in the bed and they had at least 3-4 free rooms!!! The lady that assessed me told me better I went to the hospital I was registered at and SHE said my CONTRACTIONS might be too far apart for a doctor to even check me down there!!!! I’m 21 WEEKS pregnant there was no SERIOUSNESS and No TALK of stopping labour or telling me it might be false contractions!!! I was so TRAUMATISED! The 2 hours I was waiting for the DOCTOR to asses me, all I could picture is a my baby dying!!!! In fact they prioritised a lady who came to have her bloods taken and someone after a healthy delivery!!!! I can’t say how much I’m traumatised!!! I’m scared to go to any hospital! Thank God the doctor did later check me and all was ok. Worst hours in my life! I wasn’t even allowed to lie down when I saw beds were free!!!
