"My daughter's care at Wishaw hospital"

(as a service user),

To say the care my daughter received from everyone in the paediatric ward of Wishaw hospital was tremendous, would not do the nurses, doctors and everyone else we encountered justice. To say they were empathetic, understanding, patient, professional and above all else thorough, would be an understatement. I cannot speak highly enough of the care my 5 year old daughter received as a patient and the care we received as her parents. I'm sure they deal with tremendously challenging situations every day - much more so than ours - but their thoroughness and attention to detail was out of this world.

Hi GerryK,

I am very grateful for your sentiments on the service your daughter received in the Paediatric unit. The Clinical Team in Wishaw have been very busy of late due to seasonal illness'. Despite this they endeavour to always provide both high levels of care and evidence based practice. As ever it is the personal touch which makes a difference to the experience. I will pass your correspondence on to the clinical team and I hope that your daughter is doing well.
