"Thank you"

About: Lincoln County Hospital

My little boy had to attend the A&E department yesterday after a head injury. The check in process was quick and easy and managed by warm and friendly staff.

We were then seen by three different members of the team and each professional made a traumatic experience as comfortable as possible. They all sought to put my little boy (and his Mummy and Daddy) at ease and were thorough yet not robotic with their questioning. They demonstrated a real care for their patient and made us feel confident in the diagnosis and care plan they subsequently issued. An impressive team - especially one member of staff who knew exactly what to do to make my little boy compliant with the tests she had to carry out - even eliciting a smile!

Whilst not wanting to return any time soon, we would have no issues with doing so!

Thanks to all.

Thank you for taking the time to post these lovely comments.

I am pleased to be able to share your A&E experience with the team, we are always happy to know we have made what can be a difficult experience as pleasant as possible.

Kind regards

Karen Hansord – A&E sister
