"Inadequate handling of condition"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Queen's Medical Centre Campus / Neurology

I had waited 4 months to see a consultant with the neurology team only to be left extremely unsatisfied and leaving with more questions than answers in regards to my condition. My appointment was a shambles when asked questions by the consultant I was shut down immediately with the phrase "irrelevant" to everything. upon physical examination I was tested in the wrong areas and the test that were relevant were done incorrectly. I was given an appointment for a brain MRI even though I was attending the appointment in regards to a lumbar region herniated disc. Upon getting my copy of the letter sent to my GP after the appointment I am left shocked by the claims made by my consultant such as a diagnosis of depression!? Which I do not have. I am also appalled by the fact that the consultant had failed to attain my records in regards to my condition and made the assumption I was supposed to bring them with me. Overall I wouldn't recommend QMC neurology department as I am left with more questions than answers and still in pain and discomfort with my condition but as my consultant would put it that's "irrelevant".
