I went in for my Laparoscopy on the 28.3.18 when I got there the nurses was brilliant. Got all my checks completed the anaesthetist had done his checks he was satisfied and I was told I would be the first on the list. But was just waiting for the finale checks and for my consultant to come in to speak to me about the procedure I was having. Instruments going in chubbier patients I explained that they had no trouble 2 years ago at the qmc as I was on the gynaecology ward. When my consultant left I was left waiting. The nurse that was looking after me Christine Lupton kept coming in to my cubicle to explain I’d been moved to bottom of the list without explanation. The nurses kept asking why I’d been moved but got no answer. But by that time I was fed up with waiting. Everything was going through my mind. Was I still going to have the procedure done? Was I put on the bottom of the list last as I was the chubby lady that cause them a few problems?? I cannot complain about the after care. But I’ve had many discharge notes and yours do not go in to detail only states I had a Laparoscopy it doesn’t state the findings or details of the investigations or diagnosis or procedures.just states my sutures are Absorbable and to have a follow up in

Gynae clinic in 3 months. Well that’s no good to me because of my job they will need to what I can do in regards to me caring for elderly service users.
