What I liked

I went to A&E on Sunday 5/6/11 with what turned out to be severe cellulitis. From the moment I was admitted to my discharge from the "Virtual ward" 4 weeks later I was treated with dignity and as a human being.

Special mention to a particular Doctor and his team for the immediate action when necrotising fasciitis was a distinct possibility and the staff on MAU, the Ocean B manager and her virtual team where the service is an essential back-up to ensure fast, expert service.

I have been in and out of Oldchurch and Queens many times since 2004 and it is an oustanding example of an NHS hospital (and the food is now excellent !)
