"Shocking Service"

About: The Royal London Hospital

It has taken nearly 2 years to receive care for a jaw issue that I have - and I still haven't had a consultation with a qualified doctor!!! They have made errors in booking in my appointments numerous times, including sending my letters to the wrong address, then discharging me when I didn't reply to this letter (duh).

After my MRI scan they had me return for the results, then after waiting for several hours in the waiting room (having taken the morning off work), I get into my appointment to find that they haven't reviewed my results yet - so tell me that there's nothing to say yet, so they dismiss me! TWICE!!! I finally get my results and then they tell me that they need a specialist to look at them as I might need surgery, so to come back - that was the entire appointment.... I receive my next appointment and it's for nearly a year's time!

I'm on the verge of giving up - they do not make you feel valued or included in your own treatment (not that I've received any yet!). Oh and to top it off, the reception staff are hideously rude!!! I watched one of the receptionists continuously roll her eyes at perfectly polite questions and have an awful attitude when speaking to patients.

The doctors themselves have been very kind - but it's difficult to even be seen by one.

I wish I could go elsewhere, but I'm scared to start the process all over again and would like this to be sorted within this century - I'm not holding my breath though..
