"Appointment shambles (every single time)"

About: Hertford County Hospital / Diabetic medicine

There was a time when outpatients had appointment cards and left the hospital with their next appointment booked, giving us the ability to avoid holidays and other important commitments.

Now we are told this is not possible, usually blamed on the computer, the receptionist if

they are still there informs us that it will be sent in the post and often we wait in vain.

When we try to make an appointment sometimes we are told that the next appointments are not yet available and try again in a week or two, oh, and ring before three because they are part timers.

Steve Saban (still waiting for a diabetic appointment).
